We spent a day in Dublin travelling around. Some things (like the Book of Kells) we couldn't take photos of. Around 2:30 in the afternoon, we were in the post office, and the clerk told us of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Towers and the Pentagon. It was incredible, we couldn't believe it, but as we travelled around the city we saw crowd of people around every place with a television. Finally we went into a pub and watched the news for an hour. That was supposed to be the day before we flew home; we had no idea whether our plane would be there or not, so we drove back to Ennis to be near the airport just in case.

![]() At Trinity college there was...another metal sphere! This one is so much like the one I saw in Rome that it has to be by the same sculptor. Maybe I should make a hobby of travelling the world seeing all of his metal spheres. (Medium) (Large) |
